We are a licensed, non profit, internationally
recognized treatment, training and child placement agency. We have successfully treated thousands of children with
Attachment Disorder since our inception in 1972.
With the purchase of the Evergreen Conference Center
in 1994, The Institute for Attachment & Child Development ("IACD")
fulfilled several dreams. We now have a "home"
for our program, accomodations for visiting families,
and a facility to train others in this important work. In addition, by making the Evergreen Conference Center
available for the use of the public, this facility serves
as a resource to financially support IACD's therapeutic work and serves
to connect IACD to the greater community.
We believe in a coordinated team approach to treating
each child in our care. Every member of the team
is critical to the success of treatment. Our team
represents a unique blend of knowledge, experience, skill and caring.
